Most frequent questions and answers

We ship to almost every country in the World. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout. You will be asked to enter your address details into the Checkout Page.
Your address will be recognised by our shipping carriers and will generate a shipping price ​for your order. Please see the Shipping Guide for any other shipping questions.

We have preferential rates with our trusted carriers and these will be calculated based on the items in your basket. Your shipping cost will be calculated once you enter in your delivery address details into the Checkout Page. Please see the Shipping Guide for any other shipping questions.

Prices are quoted without tax on the product pages. Tax is calculated at checkout. Customers from the United Kingdom will have 20% VAT tax added to their invoice. Oversees customers will pay this tax as an import tax when your goods reach your delivery country. For further information on taxes please visit our Shipping Guide.

FAQ - Shipping Guide

Please double check for missing small parts that can sometimes get stuck in the folds of the packaging. If an item is on your order but definitely not in your delivery please email us here.

You can track your order using the link in your order confirmation email or by clicking here. If you think you should have already received your order and you haven’t yet, please don’t delay in getting in touch with us to investigate. Please use the live chat link on the bottom right of your screen or if you are contacting us outside of office opening hours then please email us here and we will respond as soon as possible.

Custom fees are made up of import tax and duties, the amount to be paid depends on the goods and the country they are being imported to. The tax will be charged at the rate in your country, usually round 20%. Duty rates range between 2-5% on our goods. Please check on your home government’s import web page. The courier will also charge their own customs handling fee, please check with your chosen courier.

No sorry, we cannot do this in any circumstances. The tax is taken by your government and is linked directly to our sales system.

In most cases the answer is yes, please email us with your needs and we will come back to you.

If your order has already left us you will need to contact the courier company yourself, we are not able to make those changes once they have left us. At the moment Trampa do not offer credit purchases. However we do accept Paypal which has a credit facility. 

We are happy for you to pay off your invoice in instalments however please not that no goods will be sent until full payment has been received by us.

FAQ - Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

Please contact us in the first instance, providing your order number and the details of the item you wish to return. If you are returning an item bought after April 2023 then please use the returns portal link that you will find on your delivery confirmation email or by clicking here:

Please contact our support team as soon as possible, your order may not have left us yet and we can discuss the correct parts with you. If your order is already out for delivery then please contact us and we will try you to get the goods returned to us. If you have already received the goods then please complete the details on the return page and we will accept your return and offer you a full refund or exchange if your items are returned to us in a new and unused condition.

Refunds will be processed on the day that the goods are received back at Trampa HQ. You will receive a notification and a refund receipt from us. Please allow 3 days to see the refund in your account after we have received the item(s) back before contacting us.

We do not offer extended warranty at this time however it is something we are currently looking into along with maintenance and service packages. If you are interested in any of these products please email us for further information.

We have manuals for most of our products, and are actively working on creating the rest. Please see the Library of Manuals. If the manual you are looking for is not listed on the manuals page or if you have a specific request then please email us and one of our team can normally create it.

In the first instance we request that you contact us as soon as possible. Please do not attempt to repair the item yourself. The item can be returned using our returns portal if purchased in the last 90 days. We will assess your return and send you a quote for the cost of the repair if you are outside of warranty, you can then decide whether you would like to go ahead. For further information on Returns, please visit the Returns, Exchanges and Refunds page for further information on how to return your item for repair.

This will depend on return shipping times and how busy we are, holidays and other factors out of our control. We aim to repair items within one week of receiving them back at Trampa HQ, depending on the extent of the repair.

If you have bought a product from us within the last 90 days or had a product repaired by us in the last 30 days, then it is in warranty. Please contact us with an overview of the problem.

We advise you to use ‘Google Translate’ or another translation app alongside the live chat button on the bottom right of your page or you can email us and we will reply to you in your language.

You will likely have come across VESC™ by now, it is very special in the field of Electronic Speed Controllers so we are very proud that our boards all come as standard with a VESC™ and VESC™ BMS.

VESC6 Mk6 HP – Quite simply a higher powered version of the VESC6 Mk6, with the same trusted reliability and ease of control. Why High Power? Because the mosfets in the HP allow more amps to run through.

VESC6 Mk6 – An incredibly reliable and high performing compact speed controller, used by over 2000 companies in many other applications across the world

VESC 6/75 – If you are using a 16s Battery Pack to power your mountainboard this controller will automatically be selected to handle the higher voltage.

Which Battery Pack?

We make battery packs for both Li-Po & Li-Ion cells.  The (S) stands for Series - adding cells in series increases voltage, The (P) stands for Parallel - adding cells in parallel increases capacity.
A higher voltage will take you faster and higher capacity will take you further. See the table below for further comparison:.

Li-Po: These cells are more expensive, however you may consider them worth it because they have less components and therefore provide easy plug and play capability as well as making it possible to do a quick battery swap. Li-Po cells also have a higher discharge performance than the Li-ion packs. 

Li-ion:  Individual cells means that you have a serviceable battery pack, swapping out only the individual cells should they be damaged. These cell packs require some electrical knowledge.  

We suggest that if you have limited electrical knowledge that you choose Li-Po batteries for their ease.
