When Trampa got involved in university projects and supporting students in their engineering studies, it became clear that the students needed a different version of the popular VESC6 to work with.
Enter the VESC6 EDU. This VESC is a smaller less powerful educational version of the VESC6 but still gives full access to all the VESC6 features whilst being significantly more affordable.
The VESC6 EDU has since become popular outside of the educational environment too as it is a very versatile and capable motor controller able to run custom code, for example you can:
- Drive a small display
- Drive LED’s
- Self balance a robot
- Load a custom UI to your smart phone
- Add missing features
- Communicate
- Send and receive CAN frames
- Run your custom app
