PCB vs Dipole:
It comes down to mounting options, as both have a similar range and strength.
PCB: Primarily for Internal Mounting. The PCB Antenna is not water proof, so heat shrinking or putting inside a battery box/ Inspection pit is ideal.
Dipole: Primarily for External Mounting. The Dipole has more water resistance and therefore drilling a hole and sticking the dipole through is an option. Ideal for RC Cars.
