Description
The Trampa Dampa is a Urethane Elastomer that fits inside the Spring of a Truck.
2x Dampa’s required per Truck
It functions to support the spring and give extra resistance during steering.
The Dampa’s design is three balls stacked & connected on top of each other, the middle ball is slightly fatter than the other two. During Steering they all compress against each other giving greater feedback in turns, with the stacked design giving a progressive feel to the steering.
Adjusting a Spring Adjuster by turning clockwise, pre-loads tension in the Spring and Dampa, which can be adjusted on the fly to suit different terrain and conditions, however turning it too much can put too much pressure on the Dampa and eventually it may split. So, Rather than putting too much pressure on the Dampa, consider upgrading your Dampa to a higher shore, which will likely increase your performance.
Shore – The Rubber Hardness, lower shore having a Softer hardness
